THE ORIGIN
From Parts Manager to Product Designer.
My path hasn’t been a straight line; it’s been an education in precision. In 2016, I was pivotal in the success of a motorcycle startup that still operates today. From there, I transitioned into the world of automotive and motorcycle parts management—a career that demanded a zero-tolerance eye for quality and technical fitment.
When my last firm closed its doors overnight, I realized it was time to stop managing the inventory of others and start creating my own.
GRIFBAK is the result of that transition. The name itself is a tribute to my history—a distillation of the family surnames on my birth certificate into a single mark of craftsmanship. I’ve taken the rigorous standards of the automotive world and brought them home to my own studio.
THE STUDIO
Independent Design. Laser Precision.
Grifbak is a solo studio where industrial experience meets creative independence. I don’t build vehicle parts anymore; I build bespoke orders. I use laser-cutting technology as my primary tool to create, brand, and release my own distinct product lines.
The Release: I oversee the entire lifecycle of a product line. From the first cut to the final finishing, every piece is a result of my own time, effort and personal quality control.
The Blueprint: Every product begins as a digital concept on my desk. I personally draft every technical drawing, ensuring a cohesive, rugged aesthetic.
The Fabrication: Using precision laser technology, I transform those designs into physical products within my studio, iterating until the finish is flawless.
